I would like begin with the Serenity Prayer:

Grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change
The Courage to change the things I can
And the Wisdom to know the difference

Know your Sources.
Know your Drugs.
Know your Self.

It has been suggested that I share knowledge I have acquired from research and self-exploration of mind altering substances (Drugs) in an easily understood guide. Some point during my years away at College, I developed a fascination for an alteration of the consciousness and made it a hobby of sorts. I sampled a great collection of plant and chemical drugs to see how they made me feel. I was not always just looking for a "high" but also exercising an unending curiosity for sampling different kinds of drugs and seeing how my mind would react to it.

Before continuing I think it's important to define the term, "Drug" (Noun):

Source: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/drug
1.Pharmacology. a chemical substance used in the treatment, cure, prevention, or diagnosis of disease or used to otherwise enhance physical or mental well-being.
2.any substance recognized in the official pharmacopoeia or formulary of the nation.
any substance intended for use in the diagnosis, cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of disease in *humans or other animals.
*any article, other than food, intended to affect the structure or any function of the body of humans or other animals.
*any substance intended for use as a component of such a drug, but not a device or a part of a device.
3.
a habit-forming medicinal or illicit substance, especially a narcotic.

As I define a drug throughout this source, a combination of these definitions is most effective, with a greater focus on the pharmacological/psychosomatic side: A plant or chemical composition that is used to enhance or otherwise alter the physical body or the mind (well-being) of a person or non-human animal. This does not include most food, although food does have some mind altering effect.

This unceasing curiosity and fascination persisted, and many unique substances were explored from all classes of drugs; from hypnotics and sedatives, to psychedelics and hallucinogens, empathogens, dissociatives, synthetic cannabinoids, stimulants... the list goes on and depends on how drugs are classified. I would *Always* do extensive research before experimenting with new substances on myself. After having done such extensive research and experimentation, I think it would be useful to share what I have learned to increase safety of use with drugs, while simultaneously creating a personal storage space for myself as a resource. I am a believer that drugs are going to continue to be used regardless of legal status so sharing educational information about drugs is most interesting. My writing skills are quite basic and they may not be the best, but I believe the array of information to be shared will be beneficial as I can give first hand knowledge of drugs honestly and also provide incite into drugs most people are thinking about trying, or may currently be taking.

As a disclaimer I'd like to add in here that I am doing this of my own free will, and not for profit. The information I provide is as Correct as I believe it to be. Finding reputable sources can be difficult, and I want to provide prominent and trustworthy sources from both sides of an opinion, so that a person may formulate their own conclusion before I follow up with my personal input and experience. I will try to have outlines for each page for easy navigation of different drugs and concepts.

As for myself, I will provide a quick and vague "About Me" section to give some idea of the type of individual I am to help explain my experience - I grew up privileged in American suburbs where I have lived for most of my life. My parents raised me well: eating healthily, exercising, keeping up with my education, and motivating me to be successful throughout life. I did well in High School taking an initial interest in the Sciences - such as Chemistry, Biology and Computers, but still without much determination to do any specific field of study as I advanced. When I proceeded to College, I took predominantly Computer Science classes and Psychology classes. Several of the psychology classes I took were focused on drugs and psychopharmacology and I have made presentations and written papers on various substances and how they react in the body both for my education and even further as a personal hobby. Having personally sampled and experienced an expansive variety of drugs and written many personal experience reports for different substances, I feel I can relay this information honestly, respectfully, and positively so others may avoid accident or injury when using drugs.

To supplement myself, I attend a full time job to raise money for my interests, both substance and health related - as well as save money for a thriving future. My interests extend past drugs into health and exercise, trying to watch what I eat to keep my body and brain happy. I try to avoid processed foods, combine my foods for adequate digestion, and eat raw food more often, but it is still a work in progress. Occasionally, I might indulge by eating a lot of food and it is a bit of a weakness of mine.  Despite this, I am capable of running ten or more miles (16 kilometers), and I perform other exercises regularly. My weight or mass is about 160 pounds (72.5 kilograms) and I am a little less than six feet tall. As for my mental status, which I feel to be important when considering drug usage, I am currently of sound mind. Often I am optimistic about life and the future and as such, I do not consider myself depressed, anxious, bipolar, or mentally ill in any way nor does any doctor I have recently encountered. Also, it is worth noting here that the diet, mental status, and physical conditioning of a person will have a Significant impact on the effects of drugs in their body that may give unexpected results. Another goal of mine will be to demystify problems that may arise when users achieve unexpected results by trying to explain why the effects could be.

For an occasional pastime, I occasionally go out to various art or musical shows and festivals to meet new people and experience new things. My current hobbies include eating right, indulging in substances whilst simultaneously acquiring more knowledge about them to share with others, running or other exercise, going out with close friends, and trying to come up with a plan for the future.

One foreseeable challenge ahead is that in writing this blog, I an admitting openly to not only being a drug user, but also a drug abuser. Keep this in mind when reading as my personal drug experiences may be included within this blog, depending on how I feel they may be helpful to share. Remember drug effects may vary greatly from one user to another, or even from one day to another so experiences should be adjusted accordingly!

Much Love <3
